Accessibility
We want everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, voice control, magnification or other assistive technology.
Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. We test the site with automated accessibility checks on every change, along with manual keyboard and screen reader testing.
What we've done
- Every part of the site works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline and a "Skip to main content" link.
- Text and controls meet WCAG contrast requirements.
- Form fields have clear labels, say which ones are optional, and explain any errors in text, not just color.
- The site respects your device's "reduce motion" setting. You can also stop all moving content at any time with the pause button at the top of every page, and the site remembers your choice.
- Decorative animations are hidden from screen readers, and the interactive vending machine toy can be used with the arrow keys and Enter.
- Pages work when zoomed to 400% and on narrow screens without sideways scrolling.
Known limitations
The vending machine on the home page is a playful extra. You don't need it to learn about our service or to contact us. If any part of it gets in your way, let us know.
Tell us if something doesn't work
If you run into a barrier on this site, or need information in a different format, email [email protected] with the subject "Accessibility". Tell us the page and what happened, and we'll get back to you within 2 business days. We're glad to help you by email or phone in the meantime, including taking your machine request directly.
